Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 April 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding contract between you and ASL Digital Solutions, a sole proprietorship registered in Kolkata, West Bengal, India (GSTIN: 19BDXPM8993D1ZI; UDYAM: UDYAM-WB-04-0064312), the operator of the Picrly service available at picrly.com(“Picrly,” “the Service,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of the Service, you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use Picrly.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this contract. If you’re using Picrly on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
2. The Service
Picrly is an AI-narrated product video service. You upload screenshots of a product or app; Picrly generates per-scene narration with AI, synthesizes voice using a third-party TTS provider, and renders a 1080p (or 720p, on the free tier) MP4 with zoom transitions, captions, and background music.
The Service is provided as a pay-as-you-go and subscription product described on the pricing page. We may add, remove, or change features at any time, with reasonable notice for material changes that affect paid plans.
3. Account & sign-in
3.1 Authentication
You sign in with a Google account or via an email magic link. We do not store passwords. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account.
3.2 One person, one account
Each individual or business may operate one account unless we explicitly authorise more in writing. Account sharing across multiple unaffiliated humans is not permitted.
3.3 Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or used Picrly to break the law. We may also terminate accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months.
You may close your account at any time. See our Data Deletion Policy for what happens to your data on termination.
4. Plans, billing & renewals
4.1 Plans
- Free — 3 renders/month, 720p output, Picrly watermark, no charge.
- Pro — 30 renders/month, 1080p output, no watermark. Billed at $19/month or $190/year (USD), recurring automatically until cancelled.
- Lifetime — same entitlements as Pro, perpetual access, capped at the first 100 buyers at $99 USD one-time. Once the cap is reached the price moves to $129, then $149.
4.2 Payments
All payments are processed by Razorpay International in US dollars (USD). Pricing shown on picrly.com is exclusive of any taxes that may apply in your jurisdiction; Razorpay collects them where required and remits to the relevant authority.
4.3 Auto-renewal
Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment instrument you authorised at checkout. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep Pro access until then.
4.4 Lifetime cap
The $99 founding-member price is a soft cap of 100 purchases. We honour the price for any payment that succeeds before the cap is reached. If a payment unexpectedly lands at #101 (e.g. a race condition during launch week), we still grant the plan — the cap is a pricing trigger, not a hard limit.
4.5 Refunds & cancellation
See our Refunds & Cancellation Policy for the full terms. In summary:
- Pro — 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of first charge, no questions asked.
- Lifetime — 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After 7 days, all sales are final.
4.6 Stripe (future)
We may switch the underlying payment processor from Razorpay to Stripe (or run both) once Stripe approves us as a merchant. The change will be transparent — same plans, same prices, same refund window — and we’ll update this page accordingly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Picrly to:
- Upload screenshots, logos, or assets you don’t own or have permission to use, including content that infringes third-party copyright, trademark, or publicity rights.
- Generate videos that promote violence, self-harm, sexual content involving minors, terrorism, illegal goods, or fraud.
- Generate videos that impersonate a real person without their verifiable consent, or that are intended to deceive viewers about who is speaking.
- Generate political disinformation, electoral content, or misleading health/financial advice.
- Probe, scan, scrape, brute-force, or otherwise interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure (Firebase, AWS, ElevenLabs, Razorpay, etc.).
- Bypass the watermark on free-tier output by editing the rendered file or its metadata.
- Resell or sublicense access to Picrly without our prior written consent.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable Indian law or the law of the user’s jurisdiction.
We may remove content, suspend rendering, or terminate accounts that violate this section, and we may report unlawful activity to law enforcement where required.
6. Your content & ownership
6.1 You own your inputs and outputs
You retain all rights to the screenshots, scripts (including AI-generated scripts you have approved), and finished MP4 videos produced by Picrly. We do not claim ownership over your content.
6.2 Limited licence to operate the Service
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, store, transmit, and display your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you — for example: storing screenshots in Firebase Storage, sending them to Google Gemini for script generation, sending narration text to ElevenLabs for voice synthesis, rendering the final MP4 on AWS Lambda. This licence ends when your content is deleted from our systems.
6.3 No model training
We do not use your content to train our own models, and our agreements with sub-processors prohibit using your content to train their models for the benefit of other customers.
6.4 Public share URLs
Rendered videos receive a public share URL of the form https://www.picrly.com/v/{renderId}. Anyone who has the URL can watch the video. Treat the URL as you would any unlisted-but-public link. You can request takedown of an individual share URL by emailing hello@picrly.com.
7. Our intellectual property
Picrly, picrly.com, the Picrly logo and wordmark, the Picrly app UI, the underlying source code, the rendering pipeline, and all related materials (excluding your content and the open-source components we use under their respective licences) are owned by ASL Digital Solutions and protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service or its components except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable open-source licences.
8. Third-party services
Picrly is built on top of services from Google (Firebase, Gemini), Amazon Web Services (Lambda, S3), ElevenLabs, Razorpay, Resend, Vercel, and Hostinger. Your use of features that touch these providers is also governed by their terms and privacy policies, listed in our Privacy Policy §4.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behaviour of third-party services. Outages or changes upstream can degrade Picrly’s functionality without prior notice.
9. Service availability
The Service is provided on a reasonable-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% uptime operation. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, or unforeseen events may cause downtime.
We do not currently offer a contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA). For mission-critical or regulated workloads, please evaluate whether Picrly fits your needs before committing.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Picrly is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation.
AI-generated scripts, voiceovers, and renders are produced by probabilistic models. They may contain factual errors, awkward phrasing, or visual artifacts. You are responsible for reviewing every render before publishing it. Picrly is not a legal, medical, financial, or professional advice service.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, ASL Digital Solutions and its proprietor, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, data, business, goodwill, or other intangibles, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees).
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASL Digital Solutions from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your content or screenshots (including any third-party rights they infringe); (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes (e.g. pricing, refund window, dispute resolution) will be emailed to active users at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except that ASL Digital Solutions may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.
Users in the European Union retain their non-waivable consumer-protection rights under the law of their country of residence and may bring proceedings against us in those courts. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be limited by contract.
15. Copyright & takedown (DMCA / IT Act §79)
If you believe content rendered or hosted by Picrly infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@picrly.comwith subject line “Takedown notice”, including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work;
- The Picrly URL of the allegedly infringing content;
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is unauthorised;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on behalf of the owner;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We act on valid notices within 36 hours as required by IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 §3(1)(d).
16. Severability & entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
These Terms — together with our Privacy Policy, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, and Data Deletion Policy — constitute the entire agreement between you and ASL Digital Solutions regarding the Service.
